Local gift shops, wineries and antique stores offer locally made foods, wines and works of art, hand crafted items and wood carvings from local artisans and crafters, herbs and dietary supplements, collectibles, estate antiques, florals, home furnishings, cosmetics, gourmet foods, sporting goods, western wear, jewelry, chocolates, fudge and Perry County mementos.

Specialty foods are manufactured in Tell City and offered for retail on the premises including the famous hand twisted Tell City Pretzels of Swiss origin, homemade curly Bettinger Potato Chips, and the many varieties of delicious fudge at Werner Drug.

Two new wineries—Blue Heron Winery planned to open in 2003 and Winzerwald Winery which opened in June 2002 offer locally vinted wines and related gift items.
